This area is north of Lillihammer by about 25 miles on the river the leads into Lake Mjosa.
Sunnulf Ivarsson became the Governor of Hedmark. The region of Hedmark at this time included all of Oppland and Hedmark which represented a huge area now the administrative area of Innlandet. He was the owner of the Imst farm in Løten. He was a soldier or knight in the the kings army of Hedmark.
He married the daughter of a soldier, Alv Paalsen. His wife was the daughter of the knight and governor, Herr Guttorm Eiriksen and Elin Olvsdatter.
