We are very unsure about this connection.
It is a sheer guess on my part. This should be considered only a
beginning for a long investigation.

We still don't know which of the Moon family was the father of
Mary Elizabeth Moon. According to the way I read the record she
could be the child of John or Robert D. Moon. Assuming that she
was at least 16 years old in 1832 she would have to be about 12
years old in 1820.
