*family according to the Roskilde Cathedral web site.
birth dates are suspect and vary in records by 10 to 15 years.

The family developed is based on the the genealogy of the Roskilde Cathedral, Roskilde, Denmark.  This cathedral is one of the oldest in Denmark and is the burial place of the largest number of king, queens and other nobility in all of Europe including Harold Bluetooth, one of the greatest kings of Denmark.
"Chronicon Roskildense a small Danish historical work, which is, except for few yearbooks, the oldest known attempt to write a coherent account of Danish history by a Danish author, spanning from the introduction of Christianity in Denmark to the author's own time. It is written in Latin. The original chronicle covers the timeframe of 826 .. .." It was written by an anonymous monk based on records that he had available at that time.   [wikipedia.org].

These families have records and the family crests are found in the Roskilde Cathedral web site and go back to about 1200.

Niels Alexandersen as a "Royal Danish Stallmaster" usually was a close advisor to the king.  "Stallers" in England were seen as place savers but close advisors.  It seems he eventually receives his own land to oversee as a "Mayor".

Peder Erlandsen who married Estrid Nielsdatter was the brother of Jacob Erlandsen, the Archbishop of Danish Catholic Church in Roskilde.  As such he had tremendous power and prestige.  The Chronicon Roskildense says (google translated out of Danish) :

"When Jacob becomes archbishop in 1252, it is with the program that all worldly influence on the church should be heard. In the church's area, only church law must prevail. The starting point is the teachings of the two swords: "Like there are two swords, one worldly and one spiritual, there are also two princes, judges and courts. The king must know that, like the spiritual has priority over the worldly, the church also has right in favor of the worldly right: if there is disagreement between them, let it be less for the greater, the temporal of the spiritual. " If this policy were implemented, Skåne would become a church outside the realm. The king would lose a large part of his kingdom, and he could not agree.

In order to stand straight against the kings Jacob Erlandsen began the construction of the largest and strongest fortress in the north, Hammershus on Bornholm. However, it was only finished under his successor Jens Grand, so Jacob could not hide there. He called the 1256 bishops of the country to a meeting in Vejle, where a "constitution" was adopted: "As the Danish church is under such a stern persecution of fighters, it is impossible to avoid the king's own presence avoiding bishops a solid wall of the house of God, the authority of the holy assembly has ordered that if any bishop within the borders of the Danish empire is caught, mutilated or suffered by another violent objection to the king's commandments or with his applause, or to any noble commandment so that there is reason to believe that it has happened to the king's will, then all worship in the kingdom will cease. " The country should be in interdict."

According to the Chronicon Roskildense

Astrad Frakke
He became a monk and established a Franciscan monastery in Svendborg in 1236
Then went to Grabrødre Monastery in Roskilde.
Here he became a guardian and acted as such when Skt. Agnete Kloster was founded in 1264.
