Burns Family

This family group was the main reason I started genealogy research eight years ago. My mother had always told me that I was related to Robert Burns the great Scottish poet. Since then I have found a number of Scottish relatives but so far no Robert Burns in my background. This line is still in need of much research if anyone has information on the Burns of Alabama or South Carolina, I would very much like to know about it.

All of the following ancestors were born in or near Odby, Denmark on the Jutland pennisula. The Scandinavian's first name are used as the last name of their sons or daughters, thus Christian's son Paul would be Paul Christenson. In this particular case Moller also means the trade of miller and these Mollers did in fact operate a grain mill at various location on the Jutland pennisula.
