I have no information on this projected ancestor. I hope someone can help me out here. At least according to LDS christening records there seems to be only two choices for the parents of Neils Paulsen.

Magrethe Hansdatter baptism

1801 - Census records, Hedmark, Åmodt parish, Hovde farm. They are living in one of three building on the farmstead. This is the only Magrethe Hansdater in all of Hedmark so I feel pretty confident of the family. The age also makes Magrethe born in 1789. [Nor. Archives Census]

1808, Jan 24 - There is a death of Niels Poulsen Mahlums. I can't transcribe this so I need some help here. No age is given so I don't know if this is ours.
It seems to be a still born birth but the dates don't work if Hans is born on Jan 9 unless this is the son born on Jan 9th who dies to baptized on Jan 24.
