Most of these records are maintained in local archives and were
microfilmed by the LDS. We still have an incomplete history of
this family and I look forward to information that can complete
the lists of the children. There are several books on the
Gulbrandsdalen region.
The family listed here comes from The Gausdalsslekt (Gausdal
Genealogy) web site of Kare Mikkelsen of Sandes, Norway. She
referenced the book of Engebret Hougen, Ættesoge for
Gudbrandsdalen, bind I.
Oluf Rygh lists farm records for Bo that indicate this may
be part of a royal estate. The original records seem
to written in Icelandic.
"Haakon Ogmundssön and 3 other Men announce a Succession between Brö-drene Eystein Raggad and Kolbjörn, after which Eystein retained the seat lower Tofte (in Fron in Gudbrandsdalen), and Kolbjörn got parts of the farms Bö, Hage and Valler, while the rest of the ancestral estate was to be replaced equally between them."
