#records of our anonymous researcher.  obituary

We don't know much about the family of Squiren Henry which probably an old family name.  He shows up in several records but doesn't seem to have married until after he was forty years old.   Since there is a twenty year gap in the census records his family could be grown.

1840 US Census, Lincoln County, KY page 116

1850 US Census, Lincoln County, KY page 291 219-219 1862 - John S. Henry enlisted in the Union Army in at Mackville, Washington County, Kentucky. Died of chronic "camp" diarrhea suffered in the Civil War at Hospital No. 13, Nashville, TN. 1863- John S. Henry dies. He is buried in the NASHVILLE NATIONAL CEMETERY "HENRY JOHN S - section C 7387 died -6/8/63 from- KY rank- PRIVATE".

1870 US CENSUS, Sugar Creek, Decatur Co., Indiana. pp. 271 - 273
This census shows Martha Henry with sons and daughters. Margaret A. Henry is supposed to have married in March of 1869 but listed here as a Henry. She seems to show up in the next record in the house of William Crouch with Duncan as a last name.

James Henry was on the 1870 census for Washington Twp, Decatur Co, Ind, page 185 with William Crouch, blacksmith, who also had listed in his household, Nancy Crouch, Martha Crouch, Margt A Duncan and James Henry, common labor.

1910- US Census. Indiana, Madison Co., Pipe Creek Township. Series: T624  Roll: 365  Page: 29
(the childen in this census are probably children of Adah.  Squire and Adah have only been married for one year according to this census. We suspect that she does not have any children with Squire.)
