The research here was done by Cora Christofferson from Danish
church
records. Since Denmark was one of the last areas of europe
to
adopt
catholicism, the records of births and death are limited only to
the
time
beginning with these church records. These churches later
became
Lutheran. Most of these records are maintained in local archives
and
were
microfilmed by the LDS. We still have an incomplete history of
this
family
and I look forward to information that can complete the lists of
the
children.
1760 - 22 May - There is only one recorded marriage of a Maren Berthelsen to an Anders
of any
type in all of Denmark within a plus or minus ten year period of
1763.
This was to an Anders Jensen
in Orsleve, Odense, Denmark. Typically "gaard " means farm
so I
doubt that Aggergaard is actually his last name but rather a place
that
he lived. I don't know how or where the reference came
from and have not been able to confirm it.
