Co., To George Renn of same, for £13, 200 acres on north side of Blackwater, joining Edward Holloway's land and John Holloway's line., Wit: Thomas Taylor, John Sykes, Benj. Foster. Rachael is involved in a number of lawsuits with a John, William and George. Charles Holloway also gives a bond to the Robert Hollaway estate along with Rachael Holloway. [Caroline Co., Deder Book, Part II, page 135 (March 11 1748/9), ]
Several researchers, Lisabeth Hollaway and this writer (EC),think these lawsuits lead to a number of inferences that John, William and George were brothers of Robert rather than his children. At best Rachael may be the second or later marriage and the men who sue her may be her step sons from her Robert's earlier marriage.
